IMPALED !

 

 

 This horse was impaled on a manure fork handle. Forks left in a pasture or paddock- or even outside a pen but within reach of a curious horse can be fatal. As can branches, other tools, fence posts, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

                      Sarcoids (Fibrosarcomas)

 

A large sarcoid or fibrosarcoma tumor removed from the jaw of a horse.

     Pigeon Fever  (Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis)

Draining abcesses on the sheath and chest areas caused by "Pigeon Fever"  - Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis - bacteria.
