 Above: _ _ _ _ _ _ _  _ _ _ _ _ Masses of tissue in the horse's eye act as an awning of sorts over the pupil, thought to shield it from the glare of the sun.  When cysts develope on these structures, they can interfere with vision.  Signs might be shaking of the head and being more fearful.
